Time really does fly. Last Sunday was the 7th Annual European Car Show presented by California Car Cover and HRE Wheels. Each year, Bernie Chacon of dubNation and our Executive Director, Tony DeFrank, get together to host a laid back European Car Show. This year the guys really stepped up the event with a new venue and new sponsors to make it a better event for everyone involved.
HRE Wheels was the presenting sponsor for #EURO18 this year. The HRE Wheels team wanted to do something cool for our event. Prior to the event, HRE Wheels hosted a video contest on Instagram and Facebook. They selected one lucky winner from the #HREMYEURO contest to win a set of custom HRE Wheels. The wheels were unveiled during the morning of the show. In addition, they contributed an awesome prize to our mega raffle.
The new venue for 2018 was the Petersen Museum in Los Angeles, Ca. This is a world class museum with an incredible collection of automobiles. Our guests and spectators loved the venue and museum. Thank you to everyone at the museum for letting us host a #EURO18 there.
As if nearly 300 Audi, Volkswagen, BMW, Porsche and Mercedes vehicles weren't enough, the Petersen Museum's Checkered Flag Club hosted a Porsche event the same day. Some very cool and unique Porsche vehicles were on display on the top deck for most of the morning. We also had custom signs from Pasttime Signs and Like Hell Design which were awarded to the Top 10 vehicles picked by our sponsors.
We could not have #EURO18 without a lot of help. Thank you to all of the attendees who came out in support of the event. Thank you to all of the vendors and sponsors who participating with a display and or raffle prize. Our staff of volunteers who helped get everyone parked and registered all day were incredible. Thank you to Michael, Terry and Bruce at the Petersen Museum for letting us host the event. It was a great day to get together with friends and colleagues to raise some money for the Petersen Museum.
