Our friends at Kindig-It Design are pretty busy. You might recognized their builds and staff from the hit television show Bitchin' Rides. If building beautiful cars and filming a television program wasn't enough, they can be spotted at the larger classic car shows around the country all season long. We were glad that Dave Kindig and his team had some time for us to stop by their impressive facility when we were in town last year.
The car featured on the catalog cover is a 1957 Ford Fairlane 500 Convertible owned by Bob Dees of Colorado. It was a full restoration by the Kindig-It team. It sits on an Art Morrison chassis and has a 427 cu fuel injection engine. Dave and his team took care of all of the body work and painted in with black Akzo Nobel paint. JS Custom Interiors did the leather upholstery. Additional upgrades for the Fairlane include Vintage Air, Kicker Audio stereo system, Dakota Digital gauges, Ididit steering and Koch's Customs.
Thank you to everyone at Kindig-It and Race Deck for their hospitality while we were in Salt Lake City.
